  • AgreementOpen or Close

    By associating with the National School of Leadership, you agree to be bound by regulations which form your contract.

  • Participation AgreementOpen or Close

    By applying to the National School of Leadership, you agree that:

    • You will provide NSL with an emergency contact name (normally Parent/ Guardian) and details for use by NSL at our discretion
    • You will notify NSL of any changes to the information which you have submitted on application or enrolment; for example, change of address, name etc.
    • You will participate fully in those activities which are described in each module as essential
    • You will inform NSL if circumstances oblige you to miss any of those essential activities and give details of the relevant circumstances to the fellow support team
    • You will observe and meet the deadlines and timetable prescribed for each module
    • Failure to participate adequately in the essential activities may lead to termination of your enrolment on your programme of study. You will be invited to explain your failure to participate before termination on the programme occurs. Failure to engage in this process will be considered to be withdrawal.
  • E-SubmissionsOpen or Close

    The intellectual property of your work would be based on the Privacy Policy.

    NSL will require you to submit certain pieces of work by way of E-Submission. Such work would be checked against plagiarism and you would be held responsible for any breach of intellectual property rights resulting out of your submissions.

  • Criminal ConvictionsOpen or Close

    By applying to NSL, you confirm that you have no pending criminal convictions. If this is not the case you must notify NSL prior to enrolment so that it can be considered whether such convictions are compatible with admission to NSL and, in particular, with a place on your programme. For some programmes disclosure of spent convictions may also be required, as specified by Admissions. If you commit an offence whilst you are a student, this will need to be declared to NSL as it may affect your enrolment.

  • Fee and PaymentOpen or Close

    It is your responsibility to make sure your tuition fees and all other expenses relating to your programme are paid. The tuition fees will be as stated in relevant documentation and as reviewed and revised each academic year. From acceptance of online enrolment by NSL, you are bound by the NSL’s regulations on the payment of fees, refunds in the event of withdrawal from your studies and the consequences of non-payment, as amended from time to time.

    You will also be liable for any fees payable for all incidental expenses such as examination fees, travelling expenses and other course costs such as bench fees, unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.

    When making any payment to NSL, it is essential that you let us know what the payment relates to (for example application fee, tuition fee, admission costs, library fee etc.). This is to enable NSL to correctly allocate your payment against your various accounts. If you do not tell us what a particular payment relates to we will try to contact you at the address, email address or telephone number you have provided to ascertain what the payment relates to.

  • Cancellation and Refunds PolicyOpen or Close

    NSL's Programs follow a structured withdrawal policy, as detailed below:

    • Application Fee to any programme is non-refundable under any circumstances. However, if the programme is cancelled for any reason, you may apply for a refund of the application fee
    • The procedure to withdraw, and claim refunds, will follow the milestones, as per the enrolment cycle a candidate applies within
    • Candidates found ineligible or Applicants being rejected for any other reason, at the Application Stage, will be refunded the total amount of tuition fees
    • Candidates, who wish to withdraw their candidature before receiving the approval for admission in form of an admission letter, will be refunded the paid amount, after a deduction of Application Fee
    • Students who wish to withdraw from the programme after receiving the approval for admission may do so until 15 days before the commencement of the batch. In such case, NSL shall refund fees paid by the candidate after deducting INR 10,000 towards Administrative Charges. Also, should NSL already have dispatched the Course Pack / Books / Other Student Material, the due cost of such material, and shipping shall also be debited from the amount to be refunded. Amount paid by the Student towards Tuition Fee/ Exam fee, Registration Fee, and Eligibility Fee would be refunded/not refunded, as per the Institute’s Policy in place.

    Students who wish to withdraw after the course has commenced, can do so in the following way:

    • In case the student has paid the full course fees at the time of admission, then at the time of withdrawal, the fees for the semesters actually commenced will be deducted, and the balance refunded to the student
    • In case the student is paying semester wise fees, then the admission can be withdrawn anytime and students will not be eligible for refund on any fees already paid for the semester/s commenced.

    A written request for the same has to be made to the NSL Office for the request to be considered. If, for some reason, NSL is unable to run a course, all fees paid will be refunded in full.

  • Complaints ProcedureOpen or Close

    You should address any complaints to the Coordinator at info@nsl.ac.in. For complaints confidential or grave in nature, you may write directly to the Director at director@nsl.ac.in. You may also send communication to the NSL office at the registered office address.

  • Employees of CGL member organizationsOpen or Close

    If you are employed with an organization that is a member of the Consortium for Global Leaders, you are eligible for a CGL Scholarship on your tuition fee. To avail such scholarship, please attach a scanned copy of your Employee ID Card or a letter from the HR Department confirming your employment with the organization at the time of application.

  • Sponsored CandidatesOpen or Close

    An original letter of authority from your sponsoring organization or the individual sponsoring you must be presented to NSL within 4 weeks of the commencement of your studies, if not presented at the time ofenrolment. Failure to do so will result in you being liable for the full fee.

  • NSL Lead India ScholarshipsOpen or Close

    Indian citizens under the economically backward category or physical disability category need to send a scanned copy of proof of economic backwardness or physical disability as issued by the Government of India at the time of application to avail such scholarship. However, offering Scholarships is completely at the discreetion of the institution.

  • Dr. Satasuryaa Leadership ScholarshipsOpen or Close

    Candidates from the Indian Defense Forces Category, Sports Personnel who have represented their nation in any form of sports and economically challenged meritorious women from across the globe need to attach their proof of being from that category as per acceptable Government regulations. However, offering Scholarships is completely at the discreetion of the institution.

  • Termination of AgreementOpen or Close

    Your rights and obligations under this Agreement will end automatically, subject to your rights of internal appeal and your obligation to pay Fees, if your studies with NSL are terminated as a result of:

    • Action taken against you in accordance with the NSL's disciplinary or fitness to practice procedures
    • A decision of an assessment board, based on your academic performance
    • Non-payment of fees, in accordance with the NSL's Regulations on payment of fees
    • Failure to participate in your programme of study, as defined in the participation agreement

    If you are expelled or dismissed from NSL or other organisation which you are required to attend or be a member of as part of your programme, NSL may end this Agreement immediately by written notice to you communicated to your email address.

    In addition, NSL may end this Agreement by written notice to you in the following circumstances:

    • If, between accepting an offer and starting your programme, there is a change in your circumstances which, in the reasonable opinion of NSL, makes it inappropriate for you to study on your programme
    • If the institute becomes aware of information about you which it did not know before (for example, pending criminal convictions) which, in the reasonable opinion of NSL, makes it inappropriate for you to study on your programme
    • If, in the reasonable opinion of NSL, you have failed to provide us with all relevant information, or have supplied false or misleading information, relating to your application for your programme.

    Students who wish to withdraw after the course has commenced, can do so in the following way:

  • Student DeclarationOpen or Close

    I declare that the information given by me is correct and that I have no pending criminal convictions. I undertake to pay all fees and miscellaneous expenses relating to my programme/module of study not paid for by the Student Loans Company or my sponsor and promise to pay in accordance with the terms and conditions of payment. I understand that amounts paid and/or payable by me will be checked by NSL and I undertake to pay any shortfall within 14 days of demand by the NSL.

    I acknowledge that NSL is entitled to refuse to enrol me if I am indebted to it. I agree to be bound by the Conditions of Entry and NSL Regulations for Students and programme/module regulations. I agree that it is my responsibility to ensure that I am familiar with conditions of entry, the handbooks and all applicable regulations and to become acquainted with them. I shall be bound by the Participation Agreement and the other notices.
